How to apply fares and charges

Ⅰ How to apply the fare

1. Passenger fares (underwater sightseeing course)

Passenger fares apply when passengers board the ship.

2. Pediatric passenger fares

(1) Pediatric passenger fares will be applied to the following passengers.

A child attending elementary school.

B. Children over the age of 1 year old who are not accompanied by an adult or are boarding as a group and not attending elementary school.

C. Children over 1 year old who are not attending elementary school and are accompanied by an adult, and more than one adult.

(2) Fares for children under the age of 1 year old and for children over 1 year old who are accompanied by an adult and not attending elementary school (excluding those who board as a group), with one adult on board, free of charge per adult.

(3) Pediatric passenger fares will be half the price of adult fares, with children or more fares being cut off for children under 10 yen, and those being cut off for children under 5 yen.

3. Group passenger fare

(1) General group passenger fares apply when 15 or more passengers, composed of people who travel on the same route and travel on the same section, are boarding the passengers.

(2) Student group passenger fares apply when students, students, and their attendants of the following schools listed below, including 15 or more people with the same purpose of travel, their itinerary, etc. and those who travel on the same route on the same route, and those who apply from the head of the school, etc. to which these people belong.

a. Elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, secondary schools, vocational schools, universities, schools for the blind, schools for the deaf, special needs schools and kindergartens under Article 1 of the School Education Act (including correspondence education).

B. National and public schools other than those listed above.

C. Private schools under Articles 82-2 and 83 of the School Education Act.

2. Nursery schools under Article 39 of the Child Welfare Act.


Ⅱ Discounts on fares and charges

1. The fare and discounts will be as follows:

(1) Discount on passenger fares for students

Passenger fares will be discounted by 20% only for students and students (excluding children) from the school listed below who meet the requirements set forth in the following applicable conditions.

B school

① Elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, secondary schools, vocational schools, universities, schools for the blind, schools for the deaf, special needs schools and kindergartens under Article 1 of the School Education Act (including correspondence education).

②National and public schools other than those listed above.

③ Private schools under Articles 82-2 and 83 of the School Education Act.

Law application conditions

Only those who have submitted the designated passenger fare discount certificate issued by the principal of the school they belong to.

(2) Discount on passenger fares for the physically handicapped

Discounts on passenger fares for disabled people and their caregivers are as follows:

B. How to apply

This applies to those who have received the physically disabled person's certificate as set forth in Article 15, Paragraph 4 of the Welfare Act for Persons with Disabilities, and this will be divided into the following Class 1 and Class 2 disabled persons.

① Class 1 physically disabled persons refer to those who fall within the following disability grades:

(B) Visually impaired 1st to 3rd and 4th grade 1

(B) Hearing loss Level 2 and Level 3

(c) Physical disabilities/Upper limbs: Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 2, Grade 2, Grade 2, Grade 2

・Lower limbs: 1 for grades 1, 2 and 3

1st to 3rd grade of the trunk

Motor dysfunction due to non-progressive brain lesions before infancy

・ Upper limb function 1st and 2nd grade

・ Movement function: 1st to 3rd grade

(2) Impaired immune function due to the heart, kidneys or respiratory system, bladder, rectum, small intestine, or human immunodeficiency virus

- Impaired heart, kidney, respiratory or small intestine dysfunction: Level 1, Level 3 and Level 4

Bladder or rectal dysfunction Level 1 and Level 3

Immune dysfunction due to human immunodeficiency virus Grades 1 to 4

(h) A person with two or more types of disability in the previous item, and the overall degree of disability is comparable to the grades of all of the disability

② Class 2 physically disabled persons refer to persons with disabilities other than those in the previous issue.

(Note) The types and grades of the above disability are based on Attachment No. 5 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Welfare Act for Persons with Disabilities.

Law application conditions

The conditions for applying this discount are as follows:

1) This is only possible if you present your physically disabled person's certificate and submit a "Physical Disabled Passenger Discount Application Form" that is prepared at the boarding ticket sales office, etc.

② Regarding caregivers, this is limited to cases where one caregiver whom we deemed to have the ability to caregize for one physically disabled person travels on the same boarding section and boarding grade as the physically disabled person.

Details of the discount

The fare discounts are as follows:

1) Passenger fares for caregivers for Class 1 and Class 1 disability will be 50% off. However, this does not apply to those with Type 2 physical disabilities.

(3) Discounts on passenger fares for people with intellectual disabilities

Discounts on passenger fares for people with intellectual disabilities and caregivers are as follows:

B. How to apply

This applies to those who have received the medical care manual as stipulated in the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's Child Child No. 156 Notice of the Vice Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare, "Regarding the Medical Care Notebook System," and this will be divided into the following categories: Class 1 and Class 2 intellectually disabled persons.

① Class 1 intellectually disabled persons refer to those with severe disability as specified in the Director-General of the Children and Families Bureau, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's Notice on September 27, 1973, "Regarding the Implementation of the Rehabilitation Card System," and those with the description in the judgment column in the Rehabilitation Card are "A."

② Class 2 intellectually disabled persons refer to those with intellectual disabilities who are not in the previous issue.

Law application conditions

The conditions for applying this discount are as follows:

① This is only available when you present your rehabilitation card and submit a "Application Form for Passenger Persons with Intellectual Disabled Passenger Fares" in advance that are prepared at the boarding ticket sales office, etc.

② Regarding caregivers, this is limited to cases where one caregiver whom we deemed to have the ability to caregize for one person with intellectual disabilities travels on the same boarding section and boarding grade as the person with intellectual disabilities.

Details of the discount

The fare discounts are as follows:

① Passenger fares for caregivers of Class 1 intellectually disabled and Class 1 intellectually disabled will be 50% off. However, this does not apply to those with Type 2 intellectual disabilities.

(4) Discount on passenger fares for rescued persons

B. How to apply

Passenger fares will be 50% discounted only for those who receive relief or protection from the facility or organization listed below (hereinafter referred to as the "rescue subject") and their attendants who meet the following applicable conditions:

① Temporary shelter attached to the child guidance center under Article 17 of the Child Welfare Act and facilities from Articles 41 to 44 of the same law

② Protective facility under Article 38 of the Public Assistance Act

③ Relief facilities, treatment facilities and accommodation facilities under Article 2 of the Social Welfare Business Act, other than the previous item

④ Juvenile Training School Article 1 of the Juvenile Training School and Juvenile Classification Home of Article 16 of the same law

⑤ Probation office under Article 18 of the Criminal Prevention and Correction Act

Law application conditions

① Only those who have submitted a designated passenger fare discount certificate issued by the facility or organization of the person belonging to. However, excludes cases where the rescuer travels for the purpose of peddling or other commercial purposes.

② As for the attendant of the rescued person, it is limited to cases where the rescued person is an elderly, disabled, or a person with a risk of fleeing, and the Company deems necessary to accompany the person.

(5) Discounts on passenger fares for working youth and working youth school students

B. How to apply

Passenger fares will be discounted by 20% only for working youth and working youth school students listed below who meet the following applicable conditions.

① A person employed by an establishment or office (hereinafter referred to as "business") that is subject to the Labor Standards Act (hereinafter referred to as "business office") or a person employed for domestic work in a place other than the establishment (hereinafter referred to as "household servant") who falls under the following items.

(B) Persons aged between 15 and 20 years old

(B) Person who moved his address when he got a job

(2) School students of a working youth school established under the provisions of the Social Education Law

Law application conditions

Only those who have submitted the designated passenger fare discount certificate issued by the representative listed below.

1) If the working youth is an employee, the representative of the business operator

2) If the working youth is a housekeeper, the director of the Prefectural Labor Bureau (meaning the person stipulated in the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare Establishment Act).

③ For school students at working youth schools, the representative of the board of education of the city, town or village

(6) Discount on group passenger fares (underwater sightseeing course)

Group passenger fares discounts are as follows:

1) The discount on general group passenger fares will be 200 yen discount on passenger fares.

② For student group passenger fares, passenger fares will be 30% off for adults (including attendants) and 100 yen off for children.

(7) Discount on passenger fares related to migration (underwater sightseeing course)

Discounts on passenger fares for travelling with domestic passenger route operators or other domestic transportation systems will be 200 yen off.

(8) Discount on passenger fares related to sponsored travel contracts (underwater sightseeing course)

Discounts on passenger fares for specific round-trip or travel planned by travelers in the travel industry will be 200 yen off.

(9) Discount on passenger fares for the day of "Lake opening" (underwater sightseeing course)

The discount on passenger fares on Lake Shikotsu's "Lake Opening" day, held every April, is 20% off for adults and 160 yen off for children.

(10) Discount on passenger fares for the day of "Autumn Leaves Festival" (underwater sightseeing course)

The passenger fare discount on Lake Shikotsu's "Autumn Leaves Festival" held every year on the second Sunday of October is 200 yen off for adults and 100 yen off for children.

2. Duplicate application of fare discount

If two or more discount conditions are met with the fare discount, the same will not be applied in duplicate.

3. Arrangement of numbers

Numbers that are less than 10 yen in the discounted fare (including fees) will be rounded up.
