Lake Shikotsu, which belongs to Lake Shikotsu Toya National Park

Lake Shikotsu, which belongs to Shikotsu Toya National Park, is a caldera lake with a circumference of approximately 40km.
It is a deep freshwater lake with a maximum depth of approximately 360m, and is also known as the cleanest lake in Japan and the northernmost antifreeze lake in Japan.
Beautiful nature remains in the area around Lake Shikotsu, including Lake Okotampe, Moss Cave Gate, Mt. Fufu, Mt. Eniwa, Mt. Tarumae, and Mt. Tarumae, and other mountains that exceed 1,000 meters, and deep natural forests. In addition to enjoying the scenery and environment, it is a hotpot for sightseeing, such as hot springs and events.
